Calendar not showing after upgrade to 1.4.0

Hi folks
Hoping someone can assist me here . . .

I recently upgraded from Evolution 1.3.x to 1.4.0, which all seemed to
go ok. Now being a techie I make a point of attending as few meetings
as possible, and so don't make much use of the calendar function in
Evolution.

However, I did schedule one or two things a while back, and decided to
go check up on when they were due, and clicked on the Calendar
shortcut. To my surprise, the "Tasks" view came up, complete with a
search bar! Looks identical to the "Tasks" view except that the Tasks
view obtained by clicking on the Tasks shortcut doesn't have the search
bar!

Even using the FOlder list, and selecting Calendar takes me to that same
Tasks view with the searchbar. Something has gone funny somewhere - not
quite sure what. ANyone seen this b4?

Hi,

This could become FAQ of the month! The calendar and task bar sit side
by side, and what has happened to many people is that the task bar has
been given all the space. You can drag the left margin of the task bar
to the right, and the calendar will magically appear.

Any species preference re: wet fish? You must bear in mind that cod is
now an endangered species :), thanks to all us health freaks eating
fish'n'chips so much.

The same way you got onto it.

If in doubt, check the headers on any mail:
List-Unsubscribe: <http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/users>

There even is a footer providing this link on every mail (except
multipart/mime messages apparently and the special case HTML mail
thereof)...

How do I get off this mailing LIST?????????????
Go to http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/users (which is at the
bottom of most mail to the list). Enter the email address with which
you subscribed and the password that was sent to you when you
subscribed, and you'll be able to modify your subscription, including
canceling. If you forgot your password, you can have the web page mail
the password to you. If, after reasonable effort, you find that none of
that works, let me know, and I'll poke our admins, though it makes life
much easier if subscribers use the web interface.
