Can't launch Pybliographer anymore

Hi,

I can't run Pybliographer (use gtk and python) anymore (I need it for
managing bibliographic database in bibTeX, medline) ?? The last time I
used it was a month ago.

Pybibliopher uses this two python binding pygnome 1.4.2-1.ximian.1 and
pygtk 0.6.9-7.ximian.2.
I reinstall them all without success.

Errors I got after launching is :


"Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/pybliographer", line 168, in ?
execfile (filename, user_global)
File "/usr/share/pybliographer/pybliographic.py", line 25, in ?
from gtk import *
ImportError: No module named gtk"



I get the same error with a more recent version of pybliographer than
the Mandrake 8.1 ( 1.0.11-7).

Mandrake 8.1). Have you tried reverting to Mandrake's py(gtk|gnome)
packages?

Oh, never mind, I figured out how to reproduce this. Doesn't matter
whether you're using Ximian's or Mandrake's pygtk/pygnome. Mandrake
released an update to python (from 2.1.1 to 2.2) around November 26,
IIRC. This seems to have broken pybliographer. Did you apply this
update between the last time it worked and the time you noticed it was
broken?
